288 主耶穌，我曾應許
主耶穌，我曾應許事奉祢到永久，
求主常與我親近，作我良師密友；
若主常與我同在，我必不怕戰場，
若主常領我行路，我必不至迷亡。
容我活在這世上，時常與祢親近，
我見迷亂的景物，我聞誘惑聲音；
我心深處與身外，常有仇敵相侵；
但耶穌與我親近，將我靈魂保存。
主耶穌，祢曾應許跟隨祢的門徒：
祢將在榮耀福地，與眾僕人同住；

288 O Jesus I Have Promised

1. O Jesus I have promised to serve thee to the end. Be thou forever near me my master and my friend. I shall not fear the battle if thou art by my side. nor wander from the pathway if thou wilt will be my guide.
2. O let me feel thee near me. The world is ever near. I see the sights that dazzle the tempting sounds I hear. My foes are ever near me, around me and within. But Jesus draw thou nearer and shield my soul from sin.
