381 教會唯一的根基
教會唯一的根基，是主耶穌基督，
蒙主恩重新創立，栽培澆灌祝福；
主從天上來尋她，為主聖潔新婦，
捨身流血的代價，堅立永遠基礎。
雖從萬邦選出來，信徒都成一體，
教會合一的根據，一主一信一洗；
同尊唯一的聖名，同餐惟一天糧，
同懷惟一的希望，同蒙主愛久長。
雖她歷盡了艱辛，受人譏笑毀謗，
內爭分裂了她身，異端叛逆中傷；
聖徒焦慮對問說，黑夜到底多長？
哭泣即將變歌聲，轉瞬便見晨光。
她雖在地卻聯合，真神三位一體，
己享安息的眾聖，奧祕永恒團契；
直到欲穿的望眼，看見光榮家鄉，
到時凱旋的教會，得享安樂無疆。
The Church’s One foundation
教會唯一的根基,是主耶穌基督,
The church ‘s foundation is Jesus Christ her Lord.
蒙主恩重新創立,栽培澆灌祝福;
She is His new creation by water and the word;
主從天上來尋她,為主聖潔新婦,
From heaven He came and sought her to be His holy bride;
捨身流血的代價,堅立永遠基礎。
With His own blood He bought her, and for her life He died.
雖從萬邦選出來,信徒都成一體,
Elect from every nation, Yet one o’er all the earth,
教會合一的根據,一主一信一洗;
Her charter of salvation, One Lord, One faith, One birth;
同尊唯一的聖名,同餐惟一天糧,
One holy name she blesses, Partakes one holy food,
同懷惟一的希望,同蒙主愛久長。
And to one hope she presses, With every grace endued.
雖她歷經了艱辛,受人譏笑毀謗,
‘Mid toil and tribulation, and Tumult of her war,
內爭分裂了她身,異端叛逆中傷;
She waits the consummation of peace for evermore;
聖徒焦慮對問說,黑夜到底多長?
Till with the vision glorious, Her longing eyes are blest,
哭泣即將變歌聲,轉瞬便見晨光。
And the great Church victorious shall be the Church at rest.
她雖在地卻聯合,真神三位一體,
Yet she on earth hath union with God, the Three in One.
己享安息的眾聖,奧祕永恒團契;
And mystic sweet communion with those whose rest in won;
直到欲穿的望眼,看見光榮家鄉，
O happy ones and holy! Lord, give us grace that we
到時凱旋的教會,得享安樂無疆。
Like them, the meek and lowly, on high may dwell with Thee.
