114 主曾離寶座
在昔日，我主為罪人降生，
撇榮冕離天上寶座；
在大衛之城，一窮苦馬棚，
有空處作為主居所。
求來到我心，
主耶穌:在我心有空處為祢。
天軍皆稱頌，天樂響天空，
宣揚主無量大尊榮；
主竟肯虛己， 降生貧苦地，
為世人受痛苦貧窮。
求來到我心，
主耶穌:在我心有空處為祢！
狐狸尚有洞，飛鳥亦有巢，
困乏時能安然居住；
惟我主耶穌，順父旨辛苦，
在世間無枕首之處。

救主來世間，賜真理聖言，
使人得生命脫罪權；
人卻戲笑主，荊棘冠刺主，
釘死救主在加略山。

當主再來臨，天樂振天庭，
為迎接得勝君歡喜；
主向我施恩，對我發慈聲：
“在我旁有空處為你！”
我心甚快樂，
主耶穌:因主來也肯召呼我！
114 Thou Didest Leave Thy Throne
1. Thou didst leave thy throne and thy kingly crown when thou came to earth for me, but in Bethlehem’s home was there found no room for thy holy nativity.
Refrain:
O come to my heart, Lord Jesus, there is room in my heart for thee.
2. Heaven’s arches rang when the angels sang, proclaiming thy royal degree, but of lowly birth didst thou come to earth, and in great humility.
3. The foxes found rest and the birds their nest in the shade of the forest tree; but thy couch was the sod, O thou Son of God, in the deserts of Galilee.
4. Thou came, O Lord, with the living word that should set thy people free; but with mocking scorn and with crown of thorn they bore thee to Calvary.
5. When the heavens shall ring and the angels sing at thy coming to victory, let thy voice call me home, saying, Yet there is room, there is room at my side for thee.
